Program Director
Dr. LaTibbie Cavett is a passionate social services worker, who earned her Bachelors in Social Work and a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, from Jackson State University located in Jackson, MS. She has also earned an Education Specialization and Doctorate Degree in Counseling with a Specialization in Trauma from Mississippi College, in Clinton, MS. Her education and career have always focused on her passion for working with children and families. Dr. Cavett has worked with individuals of various ages, backgrounds, and characteristic behaviors, proving herself to be versatile in various arenas of the social services field. She has over 10 years of experience in mental health, resources for the homeless, crisis intervention, and at-risk children and families. She has hundreds of community service hours throughout the Jackson metropolitan area.
Career Case Manager
Steven Ross is a native of Madison, MS where he graduated from Madison Central High School in 2005. He later continued his education by receiving his Bachelors and Master’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. Steven comes to Jobs4Youth with 8 years of teaching experience. In July of this year, Steven began his work with the MCJobs4Youth program as a Career Case Manager. He teaches GED classes, the Smart Start and Career Readiness classes at MCJobs4Youth as well as helps with public outreach for the program. Steven is an active volunteer with youth in Madison County.
Academic Case Manager
Deanna Germany comes to MCJobs4Youth with 10 years of experience homeschooling her two children through to college admission. Deanna has been involved with mentoring at-risk youth and has a special talent for teaching at-risk youth. Deanna tutors GED and ACT preparation for MCJobs4Youth. Deanna is an active volunteer with youth in Madison County.
